Nate Robertson, 40, spent parts of nine seasons in the Major Leagues, primarily with the Detroit Tigers. The native Wichitan was a star at Maize High School and later Wichita State University, before being drafted in the 5th round of the 1999 MLB Draft by the Florida Marlins. A part owner of the Wichita Wingnuts since their inception in 2008, Robertson assumed the role of Team President earlier this year when older brother Josh Robertson announced his resignation. Outside of baseball, Robertson has established himself as a respected entrepreneur. He serves as co-owner of the Candle Club, a private nightclub and restaurant, while also engaging with several local charities and nonprofits. Robertson and his wife Kristin have three children, daughters Shealyn and Brielle and son Wyatt.
